Anja Roloff / Project management
As part of the project management team I guide entire project cycles. I am a primary point of contact for our customers when they have any questions about their project. During the implementation phase, I internally coordinate the various groups and monitor the budgets and schedules.
What I enjoy most about my job
I enjoy guiding a project through from the initial idea to the final exhibition stand. The day we hand over the stand is a very special day for me after all the intensive planning and preparation phases. This is because it is on this day that I see the finished stand for the first time. And I am always amazed how the actual stand looks exactly as it does in the plans.
My tip for perfect brand placement
Good, professionally produced and emotional graphics concepts are worth the money. This is because they are very eye-catching for drawing attention to the stand, especially when used in a large format. This even works well for stands that only have a small footprint.
My stand construction story
One of my great organisational challenges relates to a particular small detail:
We unexpectedly required a large amount of a special stage material for an exhibition stand. Not itself a problem, but:
- The material in question was not commercially available in the required size.
- The material was required next working day.
- It was already 18:30.
- I was in my office. The stand was in Barcelona. My contact was Spanish.
What should I say? The material was available at the stand on time the next morning! All’s well that ends well!
Exhibition stand construction for me is....
a challenge that constantly helps me grow.
