We are HALLMANN Messebau & Design: A leading Düsseldorf-based trade fair construction company that specializes in planning and realizing individual trade fair stands and brand spaces. That's why we have the DenkWerk - think tank and project management - and the HandWerk: a fully equipped workshop.

 

We have been in existence since 1972.

 

Our goal is to make our clients' trade show presence a beacon for their brand, so they can better sell their products or services.

Our customer service plays in the Champions League. Because we want to make life as easy as possible for our customers during trade show preparation. To achieve this, we have a team that has been put together to meet the needs of each individual customer, and this team is also retained for follow-up projects. Our customers appreciate always having familiar contact persons - in the office and at the trade fair.

 

It is the cooperation without hierarchies that characterizes us and which makes us fun. Everyone who works with us notices this. We combine the joy of doing with high demands on our work and the results we want to achieve for our customers. This is how we keep ourselves in the best memory.

  • In 1972 Bruno Hallmann founded the trade fair construction company in Düsseldorf, which is the nucleus of our present company. It all began with orders at the shoe trade fair GDS. In addition to trade fair stands - which always accounted for the lion's share of the business - sales rooms for outdoor use were created over the years, especially for Christmas and craft fairs. We also set up numerous store premises. When system stands came into fashion towards the end of the 70s, we also offered them.
     
  • From 1990 we specialized completely in the planning & production of individual exhibition stands and brand rooms.
     
  • In 1992 we celebrated our first turnover million and in 2010 the 3000th project realization. Yeah!
     
  • Today we realize an average of 80 exhibition stands per year - each stand is unique.
     
  • Our smallest booth is 3.5 m² and the largest 4,200 m².
     
  • We are 14 team players and have 3 managing directors from one family. Our female quota is 57%.
     
  • We also have a network of freelance fitters that has grown over many years and who contribute a great deal to the success of our exhibition stands.
     
  • We have been working successfully with many of our customers for years.

A customer story as a journey to success.

It was the 1990s. We had been supporting a customer for several years with a simple stand. The stand had everything a stand needs. Just nothing special. Frankly speaking: The booth was interchangeable. Success fell short of the exhibitor's expectations.

Moment of change.

Only a low point in the trade show results was to lead to a turnaround. Now our client followed our advice to test a trade show concept that would express its brand personality. From a generic stand, we developed a stand with character that underlined the company's approachable and customer-friendly nature.

What were the concrete results?

The exhibitor and his team identified with their new brand identity. They were even proud. They found it easier to actively approach trade show visitors. Guests appreciated the value of the products on exhibit more. The otherwise time-strapped visitors also allowed themselves more quiet time for their conversations. They obviously felt more comfortable and opened up to the company's messages.
